Terms of Service

Please review these terms carefully before using ASCAM ENTERPRISE software and services. By purchasing a license, you agree to the following terms.

1 Software License

ASCAM ENTERPRISE is licensed on an annual subscription basis. Each license grants the right to operate the software on a specific packing station.

License Terms

  • - 1 license = 1 packing station (one computer with connected cameras)
  • - License is valid for 12 months from activation date
  • - License is non-transferable between stations without authorization
  • - License key is bound to hardware fingerprint of the station

Restrictions

  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software
  • You may not use the software for any purpose other than video packing evidence
  • You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • You may not share license keys across multiple stations

2 Our Obligations

As your software provider, RFID LAGI LLC commits to:

  • Deliver fully functional software as described in product specifications
  • Provide free software updates and bug fixes during your license period
  • Offer technical support via email during business hours (Mon-Sat, 8:00-16:00)
  • Assist with initial deployment, configuration, and training
  • Respond to support requests within 2 business hours
  • Maintain compatibility with major IP camera brands using RTSP protocol

3 Your Obligations

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide adequate hardware meeting minimum system requirements
  • Maintain a stable local network for IP camera (RTSP) connectivity
  • Use the software only for its intended purpose of packing video evidence
  • Ensure proper storage capacity for video recordings
  • Pay license fees on time per the agreed payment schedule
  • Comply with all applicable local laws regarding video recording

4 Renewal Policy

Auto-Renewal Notice

We will send a renewal reminder via email 30 days before your license expires. Licenses do not auto-renew without your confirmation.

Pricing Guarantee

Renewal pricing is guaranteed at or below the current year's rate for customers who renew within 30 days of expiration.

Grace Period: If your license expires, your data remains intact. You have a 15-day grace period to renew before the software deactivates. After deactivation, all previously recorded videos remain accessible on your local storage.

5 Termination

By Customer

  • You may stop using the software at any time
  • No refund for remaining license period upon early termination
  • Simply choose not to renew at end of license period

By RFID LAGI

  • Violation of license terms or restrictions
  • Unauthorized redistribution or reverse engineering
  • 30-day written notice provided before termination

6 Limitation of Liability

  • RFID LAGI LLC total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the current license period.
  • We are not liable for data loss caused by hardware failure, power outages, or network issues on the customer's premises.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our software.
  • The software is provided "as is" with warranties as described in our Warranty Policy.

7 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service. When we make changes:

  • We will provide 30-day advance notice via email before changes take effect
  • Updated terms will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date
  • Continued use of the software after the notice period constitutes acceptance
  • Material changes will not apply retroactively to existing contracts
