2 Video Data Security
Local-First Storage
All packing video recordings are stored locally on your own servers and hardware. ASCAM ENTERPRISE does not upload, transfer, or store your video data on external servers. You retain full ownership and control.
Local Storage (Default)
Videos are saved to local drives or NAS. IP cameras stream via RTSP protocol directly to your local network. No cloud dependency.
Hybrid Cloud (Optional)
For multi-location businesses, optional cloud sync for metadata and search indexes only. Video files remain on your premises.
3 Data Protection Measures
- Encryption: All communication between software components uses TLS/SSL encryption
- Access Control: Role-based permissions ensure only authorized personnel can access video data
- Audit Logging: All access to video recordings is logged for accountability
- License Security: Each license is bound to a specific station with hardware fingerprinting
- Network Isolation: Camera streams operate on isolated network segments where possible
4 Your Rights
Right to Access
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about your organization.
Right to Edit
Correct or update any inaccurate personal data we have on file.
Right to Delete
Request deletion of your personal data when no longer needed for service.
Right to Refuse
